In Bab Doukkala's district, with its very beautiful mosque, built at the Saadians time by sultan El Mansour Eddahbi, and one of the best restaurants of the city, you'll find the Riyad Dar el Altair the name of the riyad which makes reference to the "constellation of the eagle".
This house built in the 1920s, and renovated in the Moroccan tradition, values the know-how of the malems: fountain of the patio in zelliges, fish floor in bejmat, gallery with colonnades in cedar wood at the 1st floor, bathrooms in tadelakt, moucharabieh above the doors of the rooms.
The 2 floor terrace gives an exceptional 360° view on the medina and the minarets of 12 neighbouring mosques.
